MATHEMATICAL PRINCIPLES OF A GENERALIZED MULTIGROUP THEORY

The multigroup theory in its familiar form permits an obvious generalization. This was defined in the first part for the transport theory and the difiusion theory. It was then shown that in the case ot the one-dimensional generalized diffusion theory the boundary value problem is soluble through a method which represents a translation of known methods. In conclusion a numerical approximation of the equations given was carried out and the recursive relationships for the calculation of the solutions sought were given in detail. (tr-auth)
