The aim of this section is twofold. First we continue our studies from Section7 on function spaces on manifolds. Let M be the Riemannian manifold as introduced in 7.2 and let $$ F_{pq}^s\left( {M,{g^n}} \right) $$ be the spaces defined in 7.8. We characterized in Proposition 7.17 the compact embeddings 21.1 $$ F_{{p_1}{q_1}}^{{s_1}}\left( {M,{g^{{n_1}}}} \right) \subset F_{{p_2}{q_2}}^{{s_2}}\left( {M,{g^{{n_2}}}} \right) $$ .
