Improving Methods for Estimating Software Development Costs

Steven R. Shyman, T. K. Blankenship · 1990

Abstract : Two methods for deriving more accurate estimates of software development costs are explored. The first method involves the use of a simple cost estimating relationship in which the single input of size (in lines of code) is used. The second method involves multiple inputs used in the Constructive Cost Model (COCOMO).
