In this paper, the problem of devising interval routing schemes for chordal ring networks is considered. Both positive and negative results are provided concerning the existence of optimal interval routing schemes for specific classes of chordal rings. Moreover, results are also provided for schemes which are not optimal, in terms either of non minimal space occupation or of routing messages along paths which are not of minimal length.
