On Generating a Probability Distribution Amenable to NISQ Using Modifications to Grover’s Algorithm
Sayantan Pramanik, M Girish Chandra · 2021
An efficient generation of certain form of probability distributions is considered using both quantum and classical computing through suitable modifications to Grovers Algorithm. The suggested combination of the Oracle and the low-depth Local Diffuser is applied only once per circuit (irrespective of the problem size), followed by measurements for a number of shots and classical post-processing. This can facilitate Noisy Intermediate Scale Quantum (NISQ) implementation.
