With the rapid development of Internet business, the scale of online services has gradually expanded, and the risks of crashing of running programs has also increased dramatically. For large-scale distributed Internet services, developers generally use efficient monitoring methods to help service managers better observe the service running status and quickly locate problems. In the monitoring system, how to collect the status data of the monitored object is the most important part. This paper focuses on optimizing the data collection part of the monitoring system to provide a more comprehensive and flexible collecting module. This module implements a variety of methods for collecting metrics, and can easily specify corresponding collection parameters for a single metric, including collection switches, collection intervals, data transfer modes, etc. The dynamic configuration function of the module can quickly adjust its collection strategy according to the parameters defined by the system user.
