Quantum Phase Estimation is a basic algorithm for realizing the advantages of Quantum Computing. It is based on quantum Fourier Transform and is also a core part of quantum integer decomposition and quantum solving of linear equations. With the development of quantum cryptography and quantum machine learning, The content of this aspect is paid more and more attention and research. Therefore, this article summarizes and sorts out the relevant content of Quantum Phase Estimation algorithms in recent years. Firstly, the basic concept of Quantum Phase Estimation algorithm is introduced; secondly, the improvement, application and implementation progress of Quantum Phase Estimation algorithm in the past ten years are introduced; finally, the problems and challenges of Quantum Phase Estimation and prospects in various fields are summarized.
