The field of communication is rapidly growing. It’s a digital age where everyone is connected by any means of digital communication device with others. The Communication network can be divided into two parts: wired and wireless. Most people are looking for wireless communication because of its nature to be available anywhere at any time. To communicate, nodes need to communicate wirelessly are mandatory. To discover a path between source and destination, some of the intermediate wireless nodes are used to make a path available. MANET is a type of network in which nodes are mobile and can move in any direction and each one communicates with others that are in its range. It means that nodes are synchronized with other nodes; otherwise Nodes may lose data. For the purpose of communication, routing protocols are necessary to make paths available between the sender and receiver in the environment where topology changes with the mobility of nodes. So the behavior of MANET’s routing protocols is different from the wired network’s routing protocol because routing paths change when nodes change their position. Three types of routing protocols are available in MANET. One is the Reactive type in which routes are established when required by source. Second is the Proactive type in which the topology table is available for each node to communicate with other nodes in the Network. The third one is the Hybrid type in which the advantages of both Reactive and Proactive are used. The paper aims to analyze the behavior of the Reactive Protocol i.e. AODV of MANET for different parameters of Quality of Service (QoS).
