A modified constraint for iterative phase-only multiplane hologram generation

We introduce a modified hologram plane constraint to the global Gerchberg-Saxton algorithm for improved multiplane phase-only hologram generation. We demonstrate a 17% increase in the reconstruction quality compared with previously reported methods.
