Simulation of Interval Adaptive Filters for Active Noise Control Systems

Soumya S. Patil, Rajashekar B. Shettar · 2021

In this research paper, the simulation results of interval adaptive filters for active noise control systems are presented along with the justifications. In the proposed adaptive filters, the calculation of weight vectors is done by using the interval Newton method (INM). This is used for the active noise control application of audio frequency signals for room acoustics. The results obtained show that the cascaded filter's performance is much better as compared to existing filters. This involves higher computational complexity as interval analysis has two values. The performance of the developed algorithm is better in terms of convergence speed and mean square error.
