Under water image analysis and it’s quality improvement is a challenging task between researchers. In the last decade there are different researchers work presented in last few years many research work are presented in this area. The motivation of the research article proposed a solution to enhancing brightness and image quality of underwater images. Underwater image arises to issues such poor contrast and low quality. Throughout this investigation, differential evolution algorithm-based contrast enhancement is demonstrated in an undersea image enhancement approach. Using Gaussian and Laplace transforms, the presented methodology demonstrates procedures. In order to proposed method a higher contrast underwater image, a new methodology has been developed that specifies a contrast limit that uses Contrast stretching, based on a Gaussian Laplace Transform, along with other techniques for underwater improvement. The presented method shows good result in terms of visual quality check parameter that is entropy (E) but also mean absolute error (MAE). The proposed method is simulated on MATlab R2016A.
