Messages communicated through the network are vulnerable to unauthorized access. The confidential messages are required to be protected from unauthorized access. The most commonly used form of messages is text and images. Elliptic curve cryptosystem provides more security compared to other cryptosystems. Researchers have proposed many cryptosystems based on elliptic curve cryptography for text as well as for images. We come up with an encryption scheme using Arnold’s transformation and ElGamal encryption scheme based on elliptic curve cryptography in this chapter. The result of the implementation and scrutiny of security features show the strength of the proposed scheme.
