Testing is one area of software engineering where errors and faults are identified in a systematic order in a designated environment. The most sizably voluminous quota of cost of software concentrates at the testing phase. Software reliability growth models play a paramount role during the testing to simulate the natural environment during the testing. A good deal of software reliability growth models are proposed in the history of software reliability. Software reliability growth models treat testing and error detection and rectification process as non-homogeneous Poisson process. In this paper we enhanced the test coverage software reliability growth models proposed by Mr.Li et. al 2017 by incorporating the imperfect debugging intensity rate and reliability and optimal cost is estimated. The proposed model has been tested on two genuine-time data sets and results and performance is analyzed. The performance and results show the proposed model is remotely better than the earlier models.
