Can a client be helped to prepare for the Session in SST?

The charitable institution nature of the English public school had been faithfully copied by the prestigious European schools, all of which received a considerable amount of voluntary donations from the European community. And many of the Asian schools had developed directly from educational trusts set up by various kinship and religious groups such as the Ayra Samaj. And so, a confluence of pressures built up within important sectors of the Kenya African community to build new secondary schools, and the harambee self-help movement became firmly associated with the expansion of secondary schools as its came celebre. With effect from 1966 the Ministry of Education began a policy of aiding selected harambee schools as part of the government plans to expand secondary education. Each year approximately thirty schools were aided. In several cases commercially minded people were able to gain influence in harambee schools or to set up private profit-making schools and to pass them off as harambee schools.
