In recent years, with the proliferation of real-time video distribution through live streaming, there is a growing need among users to avoid interruptions to their Internet connection as much as possible. However, it is not uncommon for Internet connections to be interrupted or slowed down. One way to deal with this problem is to use redundant paths. MPTCP (Multipath TCP) is one of the transport layer protocols that supports redundancy. In this scheme, if a failure occurs in one of the paths, it tries to maintain the connection as long as possible by switching to another available path. The redundancy scheduler of MPTCP can mitigate the impact of a failure in one of the paths by sending the same packet to all the paths that can be established. However, it may take some time to resume using when the paths are restored. Therefore, depending on the status of each path, communication may be interrupted.
