Recognizing Human Actions in Video using Motion History Image and Deep Learning

Action recognition from videos has become one of the coveted fields in recent years because of its potential applications. In particular, action recognition methods utilizing deep learning are found to be effective. In this paper we use spatio-temporal context of videos to recognize the actions in videos using motion history images. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is demonstrated on a new dataset with typical payment related actions.
