The chapter presents application of the Decision Tree (DT) to the fall detection of elderly people monitored by the infrared depth sensors. The decision making system works on data acquired by sensors, recording movement of the person, and raising the alarm if his/her behaviour suggests that the accident took place. From the measurement, various data morphological features are extracted, further processed by the DT. The classifier was adjusted to the presented problem, including the weighting of the distinguished categories. Various configurations of the DT were implemented, showing its usefulness not only to solve the presented task, but also revealing some disadvantages, compared to other methods.
