Collaboration and advance planning across campus create more cybersecure universities

“Cybersecurity is a threat that changes all the time, so addressing it involves everybody living and breathing security as second nature.” This was a key theme on September 22, 2021, when the National Student Clearinghouse hosted a webinar titled “CyberSecurED: Building a Cyber‐Ready Campus.” The webinar panelists — experts from EDUCAUSE, the Cyber Readiness Institute, REN‐ISAC, and NSC — discussed the role of university registrars and enrollment managers in preventing and responding to cyberattacks.
