Study of the Convergence of Muller's Sequence Computer Calculations

The authors consider two known cases of incorrect computer calculations (the example of S. Rump and the example of J.-M. Muller). The work analytically investigates the case of violation of numerical stability for a nonlinear recurrent sequence of the second order. The authors built a closed-form solution that allows you to control the convergence of computer calculations.
