Tagasaurus, a tool to assist manual image tagging and the creation of image collections

This paper presents Tagasaurus a tool to help manually annotate image sets and create annotated image collections. A key aspect of the workflow permitted by the interface is that it records independent emotional value associations, pictorial associations, and textual annotations. This version being showcased goes beyond previous approaches by allowing a user to create collections of images under an entity tag. This can help create a corpus of images under a specific label which is needed by machine learning models to train for classification of objects within the image scenes.
