Deep Learning-Computer Aided Melanoma Detection Using Transfer Learning

Melanoma which is commonly known as skin cancer is classified under the deadliest cancer types for its form. Research suggests that it is a major cause of death in human beings which accounts for about 75% of fatalities from cancer-related causes. But research proves that if detected in time, this proactiveness may help in increasing the chances of survival of the patient. Computer aided diagnosis has proved its importance in achieving this goal of developing a melanoma detection model that is inexpensive, accurate and easy to use.
