Automatic hand dryer is now one of the most widely used technologies in malls, restaurants, hotels and hospitals. The virtue of this hand dryer is its high level of hygiene. This research makes an automatic hand dryer based on ATmega16 microcontroller AVR using ultrasonic sensors. This automatic hand dryer consists of an ultrasonic sensor module, LCD display and mini df player. The advantage of this tool in addition to functioning as a hand dryer is the LCD display or character display both active and inactive which is produced from the mini df player to the speaker. Based on the test results, the active distance sensor as far as 40 cm, mini df player can output audio as an active indicator and whether or not this automatic hand dryer.
