Now-a-days, digital media has been watermarked in different ways in order to prove authenticity of data. This paper presents a robust and secure watermarking technique. The proposed methodology consists of fractional Fourier transform, pixel position shuffling and Butterworth filtering. To enhance robustness of watermarking method, host image is filtered by Butterworth filter. After applying Butterworth filter, low frequency components are extracted. These low frequency components are further transformed into fractional Fourier transform where watermark is to be inserted. To increase security, watermark embedding pixel positions are shuffled. Proposed watermarking scheme is tested on four different images. Performance of proposed method is measured through various tests under different attacks and found very reasonable results.
