Designing to Meet User Interface Requirements

Michael Wiklund, Erin Davis, Alexandria Trombley, Jacqueline Edwards · 2021

This chapter introduces the concept of designing products to meet user interface requirements and verifying that user interface requirements (input) are ultimately addressed in the product’s design (output). Additionally, this chapter describes the importance of iteratively evaluating (and if necessary, redesigning) the product during the development process to ensure the product’s design is safe and usable before verification and validation.
