The Scheduling Agent - Using Sesam to Iimplement a Generator of Activity Programs

Guido Rindsfueser, Franziska Kluegl · 2005

The model and experiments presented in this paper are implemented and conducted using the multi-agent simulation environment SeSam. The system provides a generic environment for modelling and experimenting with agent based simulations. The focus of the paper is on demonstrating the feasibility and benefits of the approach. A number of problems occurred during the development of the simulation that related to both information technology and transportation. A discussion of those problems as well as hints for further research are included.
