Cripping the History of Computing

This article invites historians of computing to “crip” their inquiries by denaturalizing ablebodiedness as the default human condition. “Crip” is an originally derogatory term repurposed with ingroup pride by disabled people to amplify political activism against “compulsory able-bodiedness.”
