Software analysis and design are relative terms, often used in order to identify software quality attributes and the requirements. It can be considered as a set of yardsticks to measure software quality. The main idea behind writing the technical note on Software analysis and design is to ensure that software professionals develop appropriate quality attributes behaviour and knit software of high quality which comply with fundamental attribute requirements. The software designer, enabled with the insight of software analysis and design requirement, can also assess the software quality for any given application, and produce report for possible improvement areas, design faults etc. It is of utmost importance that the designer should also be well aware about the architecture, notations, programming language and technology stacks which is used to develop the application.
