Anisotropic Diffusion Limited Aggregates

I describe the algorithm for constructing an anisotropic diffusion limited aggregate by controlling the probability that a lateral step is taken compared to a step in the flow direction of particles making up the cluster. As a function of this anisotropy, I determine the fractal dimension of the cluster. The main result of the project is that the global geometry of the cluster is weakly dependent upon the local anisotropy of the random walkers.
