Design of DDS Signal Generator Based on FPGA

The signal generator is a kind of electronic equipment that can generate standard signals. Compared with the traditional frequency synthesizer, the DDS signal generator has the advantages of low cost, low power consumption, high resolution and fast conversion time. Signal generator is a key technology to realize the digitization of equipment, so it is widely used in the field of telecommunication and electronic instruments such as communications and electronic measurement. This paper designs a signal generator based on FPGA and combined with DDS technology to realize a certain frequency and phase waveform signal. The feasibility and practicability of the designed signal generator are verified by using Vivado simulation software to generate 295.3kHz and 390.6kHz sine wave and triangle wave signals.
