Id-Based Directed Signature Scheme from Pairings

Recently the bilinear pairing have been found various application in cryptography. Many identity-based schemes using bilinear pairings were proposed. On the other hand We have directed (or designated receiver) signature scheme with the property that signatures are verifiable only with the consent of receiver. In this paper we present a directed signature scheme which make use of elliptic curves identity based signature scheme. The performance of the underlying scheme is similar to performance of the underlying identity based signature scheme.
