The repeatability of time-lapse seismic data is determined by the geometry repeatability, sources and other factors. The non-repeatability caused by the non-repeatability of the geometry is hard to reduce. Therefore, it is important to evaluate and monitor the geometry repeatability during and after monitor data acquisition. Recent studies have raised the issue and measurement method of multi-trace geometry repeatability. One of the keys to this development is the relationship between seismic data and geometry repeatability of single-trace. Another study established a mothed with the X-mode relationship. The application analysis of actual data reveals some new characteristics of this method. Whereas the X-mode mothed has artificial arbitrariness. We propose a calculation principle as a solution to this problem and it forms a method to demonstrate geometry repeatability. We apply the mothed to single-offset bins to show the effect.
