A Case Study in Anticipating Insider Vulnerabilities Using Psychological Profiling

This paper presents a case study conducted on a small software enterprise to further validate a previously developed theoretical framework that anticipates insider threats and vulnerabilities using psychological profiles. The subjects were asked to take standard personality tests and were later presented with a series of challenges to determine their insider profile. We compare the findings with the framework’s results, and we present a set of insights following the research and an investigation in the aftermath of the experiment.
