Autonomous vehicles in maritime environments is a eld that is lacking in some technologies compared to the work done for autonomous cars.Since maritime environments can be unpredictable, a lot of training data of sea marks is needed in order to create reliable systems.Creating vast amounts of training data is normally done manually, which is time consuming and requires a lot of manual labour that could better be spent elsewhere.To that end, we propose a semiautomatic annotation tool that can gather large amounts of training data and at the same time reduce the amount of time and manual work needed.The results shows that semi-automatic annotation can signi cantly reduce the time required to annotate data, while still retaining a reasonable performance.
