This paper proposes an image encryption algorithm based on fractional order chaotic system, Josephus problem principle and circular diffusion. According to the principle of Josephus problem, the original image pixels are scrambled to different positions, and the global diffusion of the original image is achieved by cyclic diffusion. The three-dimensional fractional order chaotic system provides the random sequence for image encryption algorithm. Experimental results show that the system has good statistical characteristics and can resist security attacks.
