It is necessary to have a simulation study of an electronic circuit of current meters with galvanomagnetic integrated circuits (GMIC) to be able to check its functionality even before its physical realization. GMIC models are usually are not available from manufacturers and this determines the need for to be synthesized. The herein presented method for synthesizing a macromodel includes experimental imaging of GMIC characteristics, regression analysis for analytical representation of the characteristics, and use of functional blocks to represent the model in PSpice. The obtained simulation results are compared graphically with the experimental ones to check the accuracy of the presented macromodel.
