A Distributed Data Center for Full-view Synchronous Measurement System Based on OpenPDC/ OpenHistorian

With the increasing degree of power electronics in the power system, the full-view measurement system (SYMS) realizes real-time measurement and data collection. However, the existing SYMS data center cannot adapt to the development of the next few years. To solve this problem, a distributed SYMS data center in combination with the open-source real-time phasor big data platform OpenPDC/OpenHistorian is proposed. The new-generation SYMS data center will consist of a front-end OpenPDC cluster, message-oriented middleware (MOM), OpenHistorian storage cluster and application cluster. The system has the characteristics of high availability, robust scalability and low coupling.
