Research on Recommendation System Based on Location and Content

With the development of mobile application and e-commerce online shopping has gradually become an indispensable part of people's daily life. This paper proposes a recommendation system based on geographic location and content. Using the minimum boundary rectangle of the region to build R-tee. Using the query algorithm of R-tree can quickly find the nearest shopping mall that users care about. Content-based recommendation algorithm finds similar items by analyzing products that users have concerned before. At last, proposes a recommendation model based on the location and the idea of content recommendation. This method can greatly improve users’ shopping experience when implemented in mobile APP.
