In the recent era of times, real-time image registration (IR) has been realized as a useful method mainly due to the wide applications. A real-time HR system is very expensive and would be a power-consuming system. The only solution which will be successful is to design on-board computer software and create the hardware to support it. A hardware design for disparity computation based on divide-and-conquer paradigm for stereovision is proposed with highly hardware optimization techniques. With an intention on making the imagined structure cost-effective, the proposed TME method is implemented through CORDIC technique which is universally recognized as frequency.
