Machine Learning Approaches in Big Data Analytics Optimization for Wireless Sensor Networks

G. Sabarmathi, R. Chinnaiyan · 2021

In recent years, wireless sensor networks have gained a large market with their tremendous performance and wide network coverage as there is a high dependency on these wireless nodes to connect with each other for the purpose of transmitting the information. We are able to monitor our daily activities through wireless sensor networks like the Internet of Things. The communication happens through numerous wireless nodes for satisfying the needs of an individual and forms an enlarged wireless network. Simultaneously, an innumerable flow of mass data is produced through distinctive gadgets, for instance, sensors, laptops, mobile applications, smart applications, and so on that, in turn, gave rise to new age called Big Data. In short, it can be said that data created from enlarged wireless networks again and again highlight the means of varied range, massive size, real-time speed and high significance. The ultimate point here is the rise in complexity and traffic from these gadgets. It forms the base for optimization of the wireless networks.
