Estimation of the density of organic explosives from their structural formulas
H. H. Cady · 1979
The explosives community spends considerable time, effort, and money in synthesizing and determining physical properties of compounds to find better explosives. When better means more powerful, density is the most important property to be determined. A technique for predicting the density of an organic (C-H-N-O-Cl-F) compound given its proposed structural formula is presented.
