Intelligent Stackelberg Game Theory with Threshold-Based VM Allocation Strategy for Detecting Malicious Co-Resident Virtual Nodes in Cloud Computing Networks

Cloud providers require a resource allocation strategy with less time for response to serve more users. To achieve user satisfaction in a cloud paradigm, having an effective resource allocation methodology is required, and it maximizes cloud service providers’ profit. To reduce virtual machine (VM) co-residency probability, Stackelberg game theory with threshold-based VM (SGT-TVMS) allocation strategy is proposed in this chapter, and co-resident attacks cost are also increased using this strategy.
