The use of single spindle test bench and a high-speed camera system, real-time shooting on the spindle of the whole picking process, root cause study on effect of cotton picker picking rate of operation. By repeating the test analysis, the main factors influencing the picking rate are:between horizontal spindle speed, feed rate, cotton picking itself materials and manufacturing process, cotton open state, spindle work and cotton lint angle, moisture content. Effect of each factor to dif-ferent degrees, test process, impossible to each factor test analysis, so the picking rate as testing objects, using single factor method to study.
