Ensuring Source Code Propagation Procedures for a Large-Scale Software Development Scenario: An Experience Report

Currently, software development demands continuous effort to manage source code changes, produced by several teams constantly. Usually Version Control Systems (VCSs) are used to manage these changes. It is very important to define and follow policies and procedures that helps avoiding error insertions while performing changes on software products, although in a large-scale scenario, with teams spread out globally, it is also difficult to verify and ensure that those procedures are correctly applied.
