Mapping is the process of gathering location information so that the locations and possibly the attributes of the items (e.g. roads or towers) can be presented in the form of various dimensions such as latitude, longitude, depth and height that can be interpreted by the user. Maps have many potential applications such as in the field of navigation and urban planning. Mapping technology can be used in various fields i.e. in the field of Media and Entertainment, Construction Purpose, Healthcare Industry etc. In this project mapping technology is mainly used in the field of agriculture, for the purpose IoT devices. In smart agriculture field mapping is used to track the exact location of IoT devices that are deployed into agriculture field. The main objective of this project is to get the location of IoT devices that are digged into agriculture field, through maps. The main aim of this proposed methodology is to establish a communication between the maps and the deployed IoT devices through GPS functionality. Thus the creation of maps starts with collecting the geospatial data that is open street map data and starts creating maps for IoT devices by using various technologies.
