In paper an algorithm for embedding a pseudo-random sequence (PRS) with specified statistical characteristics into the detail coefficients of discrete wavelet decomposition is proposed to protect copyright, authenticity and integrity of audio files. For this purpose, fractal Gaussian noise (FGN) with a given fractal dimension is embedded in each bit of the PRS by replacing the detailing coefficients of the selected wavelet decomposition level. The studies carried out show the high efficiency of the proposed algorithm. It is shown that the best results are observed when embedding the detail coefficients of the first decomposition level into the wavelet and using wavelets of the Simlet 4 type.
