Task Scheduling Algorithms in Cloud Computing: A Survey

In the cloud architecture, the virtual machines (VMs), data centers, hosts and brokers are composed to establish the communication. The most reliable VM is searched through brokers in order to execute the cloudlet. When working in a cloud environment the aim is to schedule tasks properly for system to work efficiently and this is a major issue in the cloud computing, because if the tasks are not scheduled properly the system performance may degrade. In this paper number of existing task scheduling algorithms are studied and compared on the basis of different metrics. Some approaches are provided in order to improve the performance of a particular algorithm.
