Multidimensional model of use remote sensing data and geospatial services in water management according to INSPIRE and WFD specification

Gordana Jakovljević · National Repository of Dissertations in Serbia · 2020

Within the framework of the presented Ph.D., the usability of different remote sensing technologies in water management, according to INSPIRE and WFD specification, was studied. A multidimensional model has been developed consisting of automated processing procedures which are primarily based on artificial intelligence algorithms. In this way, it is possible to process and distribute data in real or near real-time. The central place in the model represnets the observation of the water resource as a geospatial object with geometric, topological and attributive characteristics. The resulting information can be used in WFD implementation.
