Celebrating one year of Chemical Engineering Journal Advances

Dear Readers, How time flies.We have reached a year since the launch of CEJA.The past year has been extremely difficult for many people, families, and countries due to the COVID-19 pandemic.Fortunately, it is comforting to see that the whole world is recovering from the pandemic.For CEJA, I am overwhelmed by the rapid growth of the journal by monitoring the number and quality of the submission we received.By the end of June, we have received more than 500 submissions.The number of downloads of CEJA published papers has exceeded 100,000.This is an impressive achievement for a nascent journal in such a short period of time under such challenging circumstances.CEJA values the contributions with global diversity.By now, we have received submission from many reputed scientists and famous institutes from more than 35 countries over the world.In the coming year, we anticipate more contributions with more diverse backgrounds, which is vital for the global community.CEJA has published review papers and research articles with focus on fields including chemical engineering, control, treatment, remediation of environmental hazards, chemical reaction engineering, environmental engineering, and novel materials and nanotechnology applications.We have also launched several special issues with dedication to various topics that are of particular research interests.
