Evaluation of Noise Signals in Wavelet Domain

The existing types of noise, which are based on different physical sources, are analyzed. The assessment of the influence of thermal noise on the quality of signal transmission is substantiated. The main statistical characteristics of noise signals are considered. An estimate of the instantaneous values of noise signals in the wavelet region is proposed. A wavelet representation of the energy characteristics of noise signals is recorded. The simulation of the process of estimating the power of noise signals using their wavelet transforms is performed.
