The aim of this work is to solve the problem of obtaining multithreshold decoder efficiency estimates of self-orthogonal codes for small error probabilities. The relevance of the problem is determined by the fact that with error probabilities of 10-12order or less, the decoder characteristics estimation with simulation is very time-consuming due to the huge volumes of the experiment, and the known analytical estimates are too inaccurate. The paper proposes a simulation-analytical method for a multithreshold decoder error probability estimation, which provides the estimates at a given noise level based on processing statistics of the decoder operation at a higher noise level. The presented results showed that the proposed method allows to obtain the required characteristics hundreds or more times faster than with computer simulation.
